Hola familias y amigos! Podemos decir que nuestra aventura en el curso de inglés en el extranjero ya ha finalizado. Los alumnos de Kilkenny College vuelven esta tarde a casa, finalizando así su experiencia en Irlanda. Esperamos que hayáis disfrutado al máximo y que hayáis aprendido muchísimo de éste viaje. El domingo volvió a ser nuestro Free Day. Hello families! Saturday was a lovely visiting, walking and shopping day! We woke up and had breakfast as usual, and got ready to go. At 9 am we were leaving the school in direction to Dublin. Once there, we spent the whole morning jumping from one shop to another, the children bought clothes and gifts for the family. Hello families and friends! Are you missing us? We’re having so much fun in the language course abroad. As every day, we have met in the common area at 7.45 a.m. to go to the cafeteria all together. At the end of breakfast, we have brushed our teeth well. Hello families! Welcome back to the blog! Sorry for the delay, we had some troubles with the Wi-Fi connections, and it was impossible to upload the blog. Anyway… on Thursday kids learned a lot of new Smithwick’s, a beer which brewery was founded in Kilkenny in 1710. Hello everyone, It’s our last week in the language course abroad and we’re glad to tell you that this experience couldn’t be nicer. We are enjoying all the excursions and activities that ATC monitors have prepared to us, and we have made lots of new and different friends here. Hello everyone, Are you ready to know everything we have done today in the language courses abroad? We haven’t stopped a second! At 7.45 a.m. we have met in the common area to go to breakfast. After breakfast, we have gone to visit Kilkenny Castle, a castle built in 1195 to control a fording-point of the River Nore and the junction of several routeways. Hello families! Monday was a very fun day. As always, we got up at 7:45 am to be the first to have breakfast, at 8:00 am we were all on time to avoid the line and have time to spare to brush our teeth and clean up after breakfast. Children woke up at 9 o’clock, and we go to the village to have our breakfast between 10:00 and 10:30 am. But first of all, kids tidied up their rooms, and they got ready to have an incredible day. Hello families! Welcome back to the blog! On Saturday kids learned a lot of new things about Ireland! We had a ‘Full Day Tour’ at the National Heritage Park in Wexford with an ATC Activities Leader. Wexford is a town that was founded by the Vikings in about 800 AD, and to get there had to took a 2 hours bus to the south of Ireland!
