Hello parents!! We woke up this morning with a lot of energy!!! Good morning! Yesterday was a poweful day. The students started their morning having a reverse breakfast which means that all the clothes they were wearing were in an unusual location that made all of us fell about laughing. After the first class, we had a break where we learnt about the English Challenge. Alongside the Olympics competition, the teams compete by doing different English written activities in their free time. The daily sheets have to be completed before lunch! Good morning Rock ‘n’ Rollers! Yesterday was an exciting day for all the students in Vallclara! After some interesting English classes, during lunch time they received the visit of Danny and Sandy from the movie Grease, who invited them to their Rock ‘n’ Roll party and dance contest at night. Good morning everyone! Yesterday Vallclara filled with powerful superheroes running around the house doing good. But first, let me tell you how it all happened. We woke up with some exercise, as usual. After a delicious breakfast all the students went to their English classes. Suddenly, during the break, Batman, Batwoman, Superwoman and Superman appeared in Vallclara and engaged the kids to join one of the two teams. Once the students decided the team, they could create some costumes to look like Superman/woman or Batman/woman. The rest of the day progressed in the same structure as yesterday. Hello from citizens of Rome! In tribute to the once powerful Roman empire, the English Summer Vallclara campers dressed as Roman citizens with colourful headbands and sashes. These little Romans continued to compete in the Vallclara Olympic Games, which interesting was also invented by the Romans! After an hour of stiff competition, the Geese team is now the top standing team with the highest number of points.   In the evening, the students were spectators to a play featuring Asterix and Obelix, characters from the popular French comic written by Rene Goscinny. Good afternoon from beautiful Vallclara! Yesterday we had a day jam packed with fun! Day 3 progressed in the usual structure, with the daily morning exercises, three English classes and three delicious meals. Following a much-needed visit to the community pool, the various Olympic teams, the Bears, Bees, Geese, Foxes, Dolphins, Eagles, Snakes and Turtles, competed in their first sport games against one another. All the teams played hard but fairly, showing great sportsmanship and camp spirit.
