The Revetlla de Sant Joan, popularly known as Fire Night or Night of the Witches, is a celebration that takes place in Catalonia during the night between 23 and 24 June, the shortest night of the year that initiates the beginning of the summer. On this night, it is typical to have dinner with family or friends and for dessert eat coca de Sant Joan with pine nuts and candied fruit and drink wine and cava.
