Day 3 – Big Froggy Games
Good morning from Vallclara! Yesterday all the students woke up at 8 o’clock to play some froggy games. The rest of the day went as usual: the students attended to class during the morning and they enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. Yesterday’s clubs were Get Active. The olympic teams played a few games from different parts of the world. They also played with a parachute and a giant twister and also tried not to fall down from the slackline. Day 2 – Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
Greetings from the sunny Vallclara! Yesterday it was a really exiting day for everyone. It was the first day of english classes, swimming pool, different clubs and, of course, our first thematic party. Yesterday’s night we had the Olypmpic Games party. Children were divided into teams and a competition with obsticles was waiting for them in the playground of the camp. Each team created their own anthem, choosed their team leader and was totally prepared to gain their first points in Olympyc Games. Day 13 – Exam Day
Good morning! Yesterday was the first exam for those students from V11 and the second one for the V12 students. They all were a little bit nervous, but not worried as they had studied and worked a lot. During the morning they reviewed this week’s lessons and at 3 o’clock the students did the exam with their teachers. All of them said that the exam went well, so we will know the marks on Monday. Day 10 – Inside out day!
Hello everyone! Yesterday we woke up having a reverse breakfast. We had to enter through the exit door and go up the stairs backwards. Some students engaged with the idea by dressing up with their clothes inside out! Afterwards, the students went to class and the rest of the day progressed as usual. Day 9 – Rio de Janeiro in Vallclara
Good morning and welcome to a new term! We are starting a new week, but yesterday was the first day for V12 students. Before having breakfast, we played some froggy games to move a little bit our bodies and wake up. At 10 o’clock, Vallclara’s studies director, Anna Grattan, with all the teachers, reunited the students in the basketball court to tell them the class they were in. Day 3 – Superheroes day!
Good morning everyone! Yesterday Vallclara filled with powerful superheroes running around the house doing good. But first, let me tell you how it all happened. We woke up with some exercise, as usual. After a delicious breakfast all the students went to their English classes. Suddenly, during the break, Batman, Batwoman, Superwoman and Superman appeared in Vallclara and engaged the kids to join one of the two teams. Day 4 – Roman Wednesday
Hello from citizens of Rome! In tribute to the once powerful Roman empire, the English Summer Vallclara campers dressed as Roman citizens with colourful headbands and sashes. These little Romans continued to compete in the Vallclara Olympic Games, which interesting was also invented by the Romans! After an hour of stiff competition, the Geese team is now the top standing team with the highest number of points.
