Good morning parents! The end of the first week is coming and some of our kids will already leave on Sunday… It’s very sad to hear them say they would like to stay for some weeks more, so we are going to make the most of these last days. The day began with a delicious outside breakfast. Then, the first English class started. It was about revision because after the snack the chlidren had the exam. Good morning and welcome to a new term! We are starting a new week, but yesterday was the first day for V12 students. Before having breakfast, we played some froggy games to move a little bit our bodies and wake up. At 10 o’clock, Vallclara’s studies director, Anna Grattan, with all the teachers, reunited the students in the basketball court to tell them the class they were in. The new students were placed according to their marks in the placement exam and the V10 students were replaced  depending on Friday’s exam marks. After having lunch, the students did an hour…

Good morning from Vallclara University! At the end of this week, some students are finishing their term, so we had a graduation party and photos day, which means that we had to dress up in our best clothes. The day progressed in the normal schedule with the last English classes before Friday’s exam, swimming pool and Olympics. Bears are heading the sports competition by now, but Eagles are doing their best with the English Challenge. Good morning from the sunny Vallclara! Yesterday was a really exciting day for everyone! It was the first day of the week and, as well, the first day of a lot of different things: it was the first day of class, the first day of bar, swimming pool, clubs, olympics… When we woke up we played some Froggy Games to start the day with energy. Good afternoon from beautiful Vallclara! Yesterday we had a day jam packed with fun! Day 3 progressed in the usual structure, with the daily morning exercises, three English classes and three delicious meals. Following a much-needed visit to the community pool, the various Olympic teams, the Bears, Bees, Geese, Foxes, Dolphins, Eagles, Snakes and Turtles, competed in their first sport games against one another. All the teams played hard but fairly, showing great sportsmanship and camp spirit. Good afternoon from the happiest place in Spain! The students started their day bright and early at 8:00 AM when they were woken up by their monitors, though many students had already woken up due to their overwhelming excitement for the day’s activities. To energize the students and promote healthy living, the students went outside to the courts for the daily Froggy games, which consists of various morning exercises led by the monitors.   After exercising, students fueled their bodies with a nutritious breakfast which was held at from 8:45 AM until 10:00 AM.
