Hola familias y amigos!
Podemos decir que nuestra aventura en el curso de inglés en el extranjero ya ha finalizado. Los alumnos de Kilkenny College vuelven esta tarde a casa, finalizando así su experiencia en Irlanda. Esperamos que hayáis disfrutado al máximo y que hayáis aprendido muchísimo de éste viaje.
El domingo volvió a ser nuestro Free Day. Por ello, decidimos bajar a explorar por última vez el pueblecito de Kilkenny, y así acabar de comprar los últimos detalles para nuestros familiares y llevarnos unos recuerdos que nos dibujaran una sonrisa de oreja a oreja al recordar el viaje. Muchos de nosotros nos tomamos un “Irish Breakfast”, y al finalizarlo estuvimos todo el grupo pasando una mañana de equipo y haciendo piña. Aunque el día no nos acompañó porque estuvo lloviendo, la lluvia no nos frenó y seguimos con nuestra aventura. Comimos todos juntos en un restaurante de Kilkenny, y al acabar volvimos al “College” porque la final del mundial allí nos esperaba.
Al llegar, tuvimos un poquito de tiempo para descansar y hacer una siesta antes de que empezara el partido. Estuvimos toda la escuela apoyando a nuestros nuevos amigos franceses, que estaban de lo más nerviosos. Al final, celebramos todos juntos la victoria de Francia cantando, gritando y saltando todos juntos y unidos, porque al fin y al cabo, hemos pasado muchísimos momentos unidos, y en el colegio éramos todos como una gran familia.
Después del partido fuimos a la cafetería a cenar. La actividad nocturna que nos esperaba fue de lo más divertida, ya que los monitores de ATC nos habían preparado una sesión de bingo con muchísimo ritmo, y una serie de juegos en equipo que nos hicieron pasarlo súper bien, poniendo así punto y final a una gran aventura.
Antes de ir a la cama, nos pusimos un poquito melancólicos. Era la hora de despedirnos de todos nuestros nuevos amigos, de pasarnos los contactos y prometernos que nos volveríamos a ver. A algunos de nuestros niños se les escaparon las lágrimas, y sólo querían que la aventura durara como mínimo una semana más. Podemos decir que fue un día muy intenso, de la misma manera que lo ha sido nuestra estancia, y que no nos faltarán las ganas de volver a Irlanda.
Ahora estamos en el aeropuerto. Como hay un poco de retraso de los vuelos, nuestros niños están mirando las tiendas mientras los espero en el punto de encuentro, y estando aquí escribiendo éste post he tenido tiempo para pensar y reflexionar sobre estas dos maravillosas semanas que he pasado al lado de vuestros hijos. En primer lugar, decir que todos ellos han sido realmente increíbles, facilitándome muchísimo mi papel en el colegio, y haciéndome disfrutar con todos ellos como una niña más. No sólo yo los voy a echar muchísimo de menos, sino que también varios monitores de ATC me han comentado lo a gusto que han trabajado con este grupo y que les van a echar de menos!!! Es una pena que esta aventura finalice aquí… Esperemos que no sea del todo así. Ha sido un placer estar informándoos cada día y sobre todo, compartir estas semanas con vuestros hijos. Nos vemos dentro de unos horas en el aeropuerto de Barcelona.

Hello families and friends!
Today is the end of our language course abroad. And regretting it a lot, we have reached the end of this unforgettable experience in Ireland. Students who were at Kilkenny College return this afternoon to home and end their adventure in Ireland. We hope you have enjoyed it to the fullest and that you have learned a lot from this trip.
Sunday was our free day again. Therefore, we decided to go down to explore for the last time the village of Kilkenny, as well as to finish with the last details for our relatives and to carry out some memories that would draw a smile from ear to ear when remembering the trip. Many of us had an "Irish Breakfast", and at the end we were all the group spending a morning working as an actual team. Although the day did not accompany us because we were raining, the rain did not stop us and we continued with our adventure. We all ate together in a restaurant in Kilkenny, and when we finished we went back to the college because the last one in the world was waiting for us.
Upon arrival, he had a rest time and an hour before starting the game. We were all school supporting our new French friends, who were most nervous. In the end, we all celebrated the victory of France singing, shouting and jumping together and together, because in the end, we have spent many moments together, and at school we were all like a big family.
After the game visited the cafeteria for dinner. The visit time that awaited us was one of the most entertaining, since the ATC monitors had prepared a bingo session with a lot of rhythm, and team games that made us have fun, in the end of the big adventure.
Before going to bed, we got a little melancholic. It was time to say goodbye to all our new friends, to pass on the contacts and promise that we would see each other again. Some of our children had no words, and they just wanted the camp to last at least another week. We can say that it was a very intense day, in the same way that it has been in our stay, and that we will not be lacking the desire to return to Ireland.
Now we are at the airport. Because of the delay of the flight, the children are walking around the stores while I wait for them at the meeting point. So I have had time to think and reflect on these message the two weeks that have passed with your children. In the first place, I would like to say that all of them have been really incredible, making rol in the school very much easier, and making me enjoy with all of them as a kid as well. It's a pity that this adventure ends here... Hopefully it's not quite like that. It has been a pleasure to be informed about each day and above all, to share these weeks with children. See you in a few hours at the airport in Barcelona.
