After a very long day we have finally arrived in Bournemouth. St Giles staff were waiting for us and after a brief introduction, they have showed us our bedrooms. Most of us share flat with international students, so we will have to speak as much English as possible during the two following weeks. We have unpacked and left the room ready for the night.
A very special dinner was waiting for us in the common room: pizza and cookies! We have had the chance to meet some students from Italy, Russia and Turkey, and hopefully tomorrow we will meet the rest. We are exhausted and can’t wait to go to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be an intense day in this language course abroad, so we need to be fully recovered.

Después de un día muy largo finalmente hemos llegado a Bournemouth. El personal de St Giles nos estaba esperando y después de una breve presentación, nos han enseñado nuestras habitaciones. La mayoría de nosotros compartimos piso con estudiantes internacionales, por lo que tendremos que hablar tanto inglés como sea posible durante las dos semanas siguientes. Hemos deshecho las maletas y hemos dejamos la habitación lista para la noche.
Una cena muy especial nos estaba esperando en la sala común: ¡Pizza y galletas! Hemos tenido la oportunidad de conocer a algunos estudiantes de Italia, Rusia y Turquía, y esperamos conocer el resto mañana. Estamos agotados y no podemos esperar para ir a dormir. Mañana va a ser un día intenso en los cursos de idiomas en el extranjero, así que tenemos que estar completamente recuperados.
