Hi families! How are you? Sorry about the delay but what really matters is that we are already here! As always, it’s time to talk about the amazing last days we spent in Malvern with English Summer S.A. Thursday In the morning we went to Worcester, a city in Worcestershire. We enjoyed a walk near the Severn river, which flanks the western side of the city centre and is overlooked by Worcester Cathedral. We discovered many things about the city, for example, that the Battle of Worcester was the final battle of the English Civil War, where Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army defeated King Charles I’s Cavaliers. Good morning families! It’s time to start packing. We’ll be back in a couple of days, are you nervous? We wish we could stay longer at the language course abroad. After breakfast we went to class. It was the last day of English lessons for most of us, so in the last period we attended the graduation ceremony where we were given a certificate and a graduation hat. Como cada viernes, os ponemos al corriente de lo que pasa en cada una de nuestras casas este weekend. Sin olvidarnos de los vuelos que aterrizan, o bien, despegan, hacia un país extranjero con los cursos de English Summer SA. Cada vez son más los niños y niñas que han vivido una English Summer experience en nuestros campamentos de inglés, pero aun nos queda un buen rato de diversión y aprendizaje en Vallclara, Poblet, Tamarit y Prades. Hello everyone! We’re not ready to come back home, and especially not after this amazing day at the language course abroad. As every morning, we met in the common area at 7.45 a.m. to go to breakfast. The students then went to class until lunch time. Only one more day of lessons left before we depart. Straight after lunch we walked to Laser Quest, which combines the classic game of hide-and-seek and laser tag. Hi families! How are you? It was a fantastic weekend, we went to London on Saturday and we spent such an amazing time there. The four hours trip was absolutely worth it. That night we were so tired that we only talked about our experience in the big city for a while and went to sleep quite early.  On Sunday, we had a relaxed morning, we all went to the town park and had a drink. Hello families! Our first week in the English course abroad is almost over. Today we went on an excursion to Brighton, one of the most important cities in the south coast of England. After an early breakfast we set off by coach at 9 a.m. to our destination. Conversation never let up during the 2h journey. Once we arrived the students were given some free time to explore the Brighton Palace Pier. For lunch we had a much deserved burger in a lovely restaurant. Good morning mums and dads, Last Sunday started this magnific experience in England. We are enjoy this language course abroad with English Summer S.A. Some of us had met in Tamarit’s Summer Camp before and the other ones, in the airport this Sunday morning when we took the flight from Barcelona’s airport to Birmingham. Once there, a bus drived us to Malvern, the village where we’ll stay for the next two weeks. The organization explained us all the rules of the School. As every day we have met in the common area at 7.45 a.m. to go to the cafeteria all together. After breakfast we have gone to class.
