Hi families! How are you? Sorry about the delay but what really matters is that we are already here! As always, it’s time to talk about the amazing last days we spent in Malvern with English Summer S.A. Thursday In the morning we went to Worcester, a city in Worcestershire. We enjoyed a walk near the Severn river, which flanks the western side of the city centre and is overlooked by Worcester Cathedral. We discovered many things about the city, for example, that the Battle of Worcester was the final battle of the English Civil War, where Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army defeated King Charles I’s Cavaliers. Good morning families! It’s time to start packing. We’ll be back in a couple of days, are you nervous? We wish we could stay longer at the language course abroad. After breakfast we went to class. It was the last day of English lessons for most of us, so in the last period we attended the graduation ceremony where we were given a certificate and a graduation hat. Hello everyone! We’re not ready to come back home, and especially not after this amazing day at the language course abroad. As every morning, we met in the common area at 7.45 a.m. to go to breakfast. The students then went to class until lunch time. Only one more day of lessons left before we depart. Straight after lunch we walked to Laser Quest, which combines the classic game of hide-and-seek and laser tag. Good morning everyone! Only a few more days until we fly back home. We wish we could stay longer in the English course abroad… After an early breakfast we went to class. The students have nearly finished their English projects and need to practice for their presentations on Friday. Their communication skills have improved enormously! Right after lunch we went back to the accommodation to put our swimsuit on. We set off by coach at 2.15 p.m. to Southbanks. We then split into two groups. Hi families! How are you? It was a fantastic weekend, we went to London on Saturday and we spent such an amazing time there. The four hours trip was absolutely worth it. That night we were so tired that we only talked about our experience in the big city for a while and went to sleep quite early.  On Sunday, we had a relaxed morning, we all went to the town park and had a drink. Hello families and friends! Temperature is slowly dropping back to normal. Luckily it’s still sunny in this language course abroad, and hopefully it won’t rain any time soon. At 7.45 a.m. we met in the common area where the new classes were posted. After breakfast we went to class and we met all the new classmates. Now we can say we have friends from all over the world. Good morning everyone! It has been difficult to get back into our daily routine after this incredible weekend. After a nutritive breakfast we went to class. Meanwhile the new students took their placement tests and tomorrow we’ll all change class. A new week brings new chances and new opportunities to make new friends and improve our English level in the language course abroad. Hola familias y amigos! Podemos decir que nuestra aventura en el curso de inglés en el extranjero ya ha finalizado. Los alumnos de Kilkenny College vuelven esta tarde a casa, finalizando así su experiencia en Irlanda. Esperamos que hayáis disfrutado al máximo y que hayáis aprendido muchísimo de éste viaje. El domingo volvió a ser nuestro Free Day. Por ello, decidimos bajar a explorar por última vez el pueblecito de Kilkenny, y así acabar de comprar los últimos detalles para nuestros familiares y llevarnos unos recuerdos que nos dibujaran una sonrisa de oreja a oreja al recordar el viaje.
