Hi there! This summer camp is reaching its end and we do not want to leave. Can we stay one more week? After breakfast we have gone to class, as usual. Our English has improved so much, specially the speaking. Today we have had Chinese food for lunch including spring rolls, prawn bread and noodles! The food was quite spicy but we have really enjoyed it. Right after eating, the adventure students have gone canoeing. It has been such a great experience! The rest of the students have, first, played basketball, and then split up to go to different activities.…

Hello families! How are you doing? Kids are doing well! Here I am with more news. Tuesday was a happy day! Children woke up at 7:45 to have the breakfast between 8:00 and 9:00 am. After tiding up the rooms they got ready to English lessons. When classes were over, we all together had lunch and rested for an hour. In the afternoon, they had 3 light intensity sport hours. In the first round, we played a basketball match and some games based on sinking baskets as fast as possible to kill the rest of the participants. We played tennis…

Good morning! The weather has finally proved that we are in England. It has been raining since early this morning and has not stopped yet. As everyday, we have had breakfast at 7:30. Right after, we have got back to the accommodations to brush our teeth. Then, we have gone to class for three hours and a half and afterwards we have had lunch. Immediately after eating we have got into a bus to Stamford. It is a small town near Oakham where some movies including Pride and Prejudice and The Da Vinci code have been filmed. Once we have…

Hello families! Welcome back! We are starting a new week and soon you will have your children back… But let’s not pre-empt things! We still have a few days to enjoy here in Ireland! On Monday children started the new lessons. They are refreshed after a long and fun weekend. The progress reports of the last week were good for all the kids in English Summer and the teachers seemed very happy. They are doing their best and I will encourage them to keep this great attitude until the end. We had for lunch a very cool menu: The classic…

Hey families! New week, new classes! The campus is at its maximum capacity so we are divided in two main groups; one group including ourselves does the classes during the morning and the activities at the afternoon, and the other group the other way round. We are all in the same level as last week but some of our classmates have changed which has given us the opportunity to know more people. Some new teachers have arrived and are really nice! Lunch has been awesome! We have eaten sausages with mashed potatoes. This afternoon the students from the adventure camp…

Hello everyone! I’m back with more news! On Sunday, we had the ‘Full Day Tour to Wicklow Gaol & Glendalough with ATC Activity leaders, so we had an energetic breakfast at 8:00 am; Toasts with different flavour jams and butter, milk or yogurt with different choice of cereals, fruit and orange juice. The bus lasted around one hour to get to Wicklow. Once there, the children enjoyed a tour in the prison. They could see the poor prisoner’s conditions in each century since the gaol was built until when it was closed. Republican prisoners were enclosed in it during the Irish…

Good morning! How are you? We are really sad because we have only one week left. Our day has been really relaxing. What a lazy Sunday! We have woken up a little bit later than usual and had breakfast. This morning’s activity has been football, but some of us were too tired from yesterday’s trip and decided to stay at the common room to rest. We have watched a musical film, Pitch Perfect 2, have you ever watched it? When the movie has ended we have had lunch. The main course was spaghetti with meatballs and we have had ice-cream…

Hello families, it’s me again! Saturday was a lovely shopping day! One week ago, children enjoyed so much in Dublin city, but we spent most of the time visiting the city and walking around, so the children couldn’t do a lot of shopping. Hence, we decided to go back to the Irish capital exclusively for shopping! We woke up and had breakfast later than usual, and got ready to go. At 10 am we were leaving the school in direction to Gleangeary station. Once there, we took a train straight to Dublin that brought us in a flash to the…

9Hello readers! Today we have gone to LONDON! It was very crowded! We have woken up at 6:30 in order to have an early breakfast and be able to leave at 8:00. After a 3h journey we have arrived at the city centre. First, we have seen the Tower Bridge and London Eye from a boat. Then, we have gone on a walking tour around the main popular sites of the city including the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. We have eaten the packed lunch the school made for us at Green Park. Afterwards, we have had a…
