Good morning Vallclara! It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so it is easier to remember our friends with a picture, thus today we have had Photo Day! What a fantastic day! Not only have we done English classes and Olympics, but also we have spent an awesome afternoon at the swimming pool.          As you all know today the pirates have invaded Vallclara. Jack Sparrow and his crew (Bears, Dolphins, Foxes and Snakes) have fought against Captain Barbossa’s crew (Bees, Eagles, Geese and Turtles) to conquer the Black Pearl. To decide which team stays with the ship they have played the Flag game and finally both teams have won, thus now Captain Barbossa and Jack Sparrow share the Black Pearl.        …

Hello Vallclara! Today we have returned to our daily routine: Froggy games, breakfast, English class, break, more English class, lunch, more and more English, swimming pool, snack, Olympics, shower, dinner and PARTY.   Christmas & New Years Eve used to be one of the best parties along the history of English Summer and now has come back. See you soon 15V11! Today has been a very busy day in Vallclara, some children have already left (15V11) and others have just arrived (15V12). During the morning we have had the closing ceremony where the teachers have given some prices to the most improve in class, the world championship awards have also been given and we cannot forget about the olymics results, the Geese are the winners!! Good morning Vallclara! We have spent a fantastic day at the beach. Our students have visited English Summer Tamarit where they have done some special activities such as Padel, Cars, Heelys (shoes with wheels) and Nightline. We have also been able to take a refreshing dip in their swimming pool. At the beach we have built sandcastles, played with the sand and really enjoyed the waves. After so much fun it was time for coming back to our house and be with our monitor and roommates playing and talking, as some of the kids are leaving tomorrow. Do not hesitate…

Today has been a very special day for all the finalists of Vallcalara’s World Championship. So many players and just one award for each category! And the winners are… In chess the fantastic Pau Olivé, in badminton (male and female) the incredibles Teo Milán and Jana Martí, in table-tennis (male and female) the enthusiastic Pau Aranda and Claudia Sobreroca and in tennis (male and female) Joan Vela and Blanca Romero, good job guys! After a fun day of English classes, swimming and club activities, the students dressed in their finest clothes to attend their Vallclara Prom!   Prom is a formal occasion common in English speaking countries. Hello from citizens of Rome! In tribute to the once powerful Roman empire, the English Summer Vallclara campers dressed as Roman citizens with colourful headbands and sashes. These little Romans continued to compete in the Vallclara Olympic Games, which interesting was also invented by the Romans! Good afternoon from beautiful Vallclara! Yesterday we had a day jam packed with fun! Day 3 progressed in the usual structure, with the daily morning exercises, three English classes and three delicious meals. Following a much-needed visit to the community pool, the various Olympic teams, the Bears, Bees, Geese, Foxes, Dolphins, Eagles, Snakes and Turtles, competed in their first sport games against one another.
