Good morning! Today we have woken up at 7:30, some of us have been to Port Aventura, others to Costa Caribe and just a few have stayed in Vallclara. In Port Aventura we have met some of our English Summer friends from Prades and Tamarit. We have divided our children in different groups by age, this has allowed us to go on more rides. Happy birthday Victoria, Maria and Alejandra! Today we have had the opportunity to celebrate three birthdays, these three amazing girls have received a froggy-card and some sweets. We hope you have enjoyed the day and have had as much fun as possible.  After a busy morning of English classes, our children have shown what they have learned during this week in an exam. Hello everyone! Today are the last English classes before the weekly exam (Friday), we have been to the swimming pool and then as every Thursday instead of Olympics we have had Clubs. These are fun and different activities which strengthen our children abilities. There are three possible choices: handcrafts and cooking, nature and scenic arts. In handcrafts they have done clay figures, in cooking they have made two chocolate cakes, a yogurt cake and nutella biscuits, they were delicious! Good morning Vallclara! It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so it is easier to remember our friends with a picture, thus today we have had Photo Day! After English classes, swimming pool and Olympics we have come back to the past. In a Rock & Roll atmosphere we have had dinner outside, Rosa’s hamburguers are the best! What a fantastic day! Not only have we done English classes and Olympics, but also we have spent an awesome afternoon at the swimming pool.          As you all know today the pirates have invaded Vallclara. Jack Sparrow and his crew (Bears, Dolphins, Foxes and Snakes) have fought against Captain Barbossa’s crew (Bees, Eagles, Geese and Turtles) to conquer the Black Pearl. Hello Vallclara! Today we have returned to our daily routine: Froggy games, breakfast, English class, break, more English class, lunch, more and more English, swimming pool, snack, Olympics, shower, dinner and PARTY.   Christmas & New Years Eve used to be one of the best parties along the history of English Summer and now has come back. See you soon 15V11! Today has been a very busy day in Vallclara, some children have already left (15V11) and others have just arrived (15V12). During the morning we have had the closing ceremony where the teachers have given some prices to the most improve in class, the world championship awards have also been given and we cannot forget about the olymics results, the Geese are the winners!! Good morning Vallclara! We have spent a fantastic day at the beach. Our students have visited English Summer Tamarit where they have done some special activities such as Padel, Cars, Heelys (shoes with wheels) and Nightline. We have also been able to take a refreshing dip in their swimming pool. At the beach we have built sandcastles, played with the sand and really enjoyed the waves. After so much fun it was time for coming back to our house and be with our monitor and roommates playing and talking, as some of the kids are leaving tomorrow. Do not hesitate…

Today has been a very special day for all the finalists of Vallcalara’s World Championship. So many players and just one award for each category! And the winners are… In chess the fantastic Pau Olivé, in badminton (male and female) the incredibles Teo Milán and Jana Martí, in table-tennis (male and female) the enthusiastic Pau Aranda and Claudia Sobreroca and in tennis (male and female) Joan Vela and Blanca Romero, good job guys! Hello from future graduates of Vallclara University! Yesterday the students had a blast at the Vallclara University Prom night! After a fun day of English classes, swimming and club activities, the students dressed in their finest clothes to attend their Vallclara Prom!   Prom is a formal occasion common in English speaking countries.
