Dear parents, Today, the students had a reverse breakfast with their clothes inside out! We saw t-shirt labels, pants on their heads, socks on the ears and other crazy ways to wear clothes. In Vallclara’s dining room we sit with a monitor and teacher and only speak in English, we ask every question in English: “Can I have some water please?” “How were English classes today?”. After the first class, we had a break where we learnt about the English Challenge.   Dear parents, On their first day in Vallclara, the students woke up at 8 o’clock and started the day with some physical exercise: the Froggy Games. Once we had played some games and yoga, we went to the dining room to have a delicious breakfast of cereals, bread, muffins, … At 10 o’clock the students were organised into the classes depending on the level demostrated in the exam on the previous day. It’s time to say goodbye! Nos toca despedir a la casa de Vallclara. Hoy se van los últimos dos turnos de este año, el 16V20 y el 16V26, que junto con los alumnos de los primeros turnos han hecho realidad #ESVallclara 2016. Good morning from Vallclara! Yesterday all the students woke up at 8 o’clock to play some froggy games. The rest of the day went as usual: the students attended to class during the morning and they enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. Yesterday’s clubs were Get Active. The olympic teams played a few games from different parts of the world. Also, they played with a parachute and a giant twister and they tried not to fall from the slackline. Hello everyone! Yesterday we woke up having a reverse breakfast. We had to enter through the exit door and go up the stairs backwards. Some students engaged with the idea by dressing up with their clothes inside out! Afterwards, the students went to class and the rest of the day progressed as usual. Good morning everyone!! Yesterday in the morning classes, the students had the last review of what they have done during the week. At three o’clock, they went to the classes to do the final exam. Afterwards, we continued with the daily routine, with swimming pool, clubs and Olympics. Today’s clubs were Get Thinking. Some students learnt some fun magic tricks, while the others did a gymkhana with QR codes. The rest of them, learnt some chemical reactions by building a volcano. All of them had a lot of fun! Good morning everyone! Today we are all going home, and we are so sad! We’ve had a really good time and we will miss this house a lot. Yesterday, to finish the term properly, we gathered in the tennis court to watch some photos of the term and say goodbye to all monitors and teachers. During the day we did the final English exam, had our last dip in the pool and cleaned up our rooms. The term is over but we’ll never forget it and we wish to come back next year! Thank you! Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a great day. As always, we started off in the morning playing some Froggy Games before having breakfast and heading to class. Then, before the bell rang to anounce the break, our monitors surprised our student Laura, whose birthday was yesterday, with some live music, sweets and a big Happy Birthday card. Hello from future graduates of Vallclara University! Yesterday the students had a blast at the Vallclara University Prom night! After a fun day of English classes, swimming and club activities, the students dressed in their finest clothes to attend their Vallclara Prom!   Prom is a formal occasion common in English speaking countries. Hello from citizens of Rome! In tribute to the once powerful Roman empire, the English Summer Vallclara campers dressed as Roman citizens with colourful headbands and sashes. These little Romans continued to compete in the Vallclara Olympic Games, which interesting was also invented by the Romans!
