Good morning from Vallclara! Yesterday, some pirates arrived to the house to ask or help, it was Real Movie night! They got to Vallclara during the morning, inbetween English lessons, and accompanied us during the whole day: we had lunch together, enjoyed the afternoon break with them, and even went to the pool. With the company of the frightful pirates of BrightValley’s Island, the day went as usual: morning lessons, afternoon English activities, Olympic rotations, showers and dinner. Good morning everyone! Yesterday we had a very special day here in Vallclara: it was Rock and Roll day. Besides, we had the pictures and video of the term taken. Our morning went as usual, except that during the break, we all went to take the group photo of the term and the one with each monitor’s group. Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a great day. As always, we started off in the morning playing some Froggy Games before having breakfast and heading to class. Then, before the bell rang to anounce the break, our monitors surprised our student Laura, whose birthday was yesterday, with some live music, sweets and a big Happy Birthday card. Good morning Vallclara! Yesterday our students started the week with us here in Vallclara. In the morning, we all woke up and did some exercise before having breakfast and going to class. All students started their lessons with their teachers after having been assigned to their classes according to Sunday’s level tests results. Everyone had a really good time in class and also had the chance to take a break and drink or eat something from the bar. Hello everyone! Yesterday we welcomed our students to the second term of English Summer in Vallclara. Check-ins started at 4 pm, and parents and students all met the monitors, MPs and house in general. While doing so, different games and activities were set up for them.           After the check-in, we all had a little snack before the English level test. Teachers accompanied every student to their classrooms, and gave the tests so later they could assign them to the appropriate class according to their level. Today our students have had the last exam, during the first English class they have done some activities, before lunch they have reviewed all the different subjects and at 3 p.m it was exam time! They were very nervous but after all they have gotten very high marks. Aloha! Our children have improved a lot in the English classes, the exam will be tomorrow and surely they will get fantastic marks. During the afternoon class they have rehearsed a song for the last day, it sounds great! And then it was time for going to the swimming pool, it is their favourite place apart from the sport courts. Good morning Vallclara! As every day we have had four hours of English classes and then it comes the expected moment of the day, we go to the swimming pool. Today it has not been a normal swimming pool day, there has been swimming competitions. All our students have swum and the team with the lowest average mark is the winner, but we can not tell you yet, it is a surprise! And the Oscar goes to… After a tiring day full of English classes and Olympics it is time for party! Tonight is the most expected party for our students. They have had one week to choose a partner to go with. All of them have dressed up with their smarter clothes, the girls have worn their nicest dresses and the boys their coolest shirts. Hello everyone! We have made the most of our weekend, some of our students have been to mass and  the others have tidied their rooms. It has been inspection day, thus the directive team has checked if the bedrooms are cleaned and tidy. During all morning we have done athletics that consist of seven different sports: speed, weight, relay, lenght, triple jump, ability and javelin.
