Good Morning! Empezamos ya el último día en English Summer Tamarit. How fast these weeks have passed by! La de anoche fue una noche llena de emociones, lagrimas y despedidas. Los niños visionaron un vídeo con las fotos del turno y después los monitores se despidieron de ellos con unas palabras preciosas. Los niños no pudieron contener las lagrimas y la mayoría decían que no querían irse. Se despidieron de amigos y compañeros, diciendo que se verían el año que viene. Hello everybody! Let’s start a new day in English Summer Tamarit! La primera fiesta del turno fue una pasada y los niños disfrutaron muchísimo. Cenamos por equipos y aprovechamos para escoger un capitán Junior y un capitán Senior para cada equipo. Cuando acabamos, nos dirigimos todos juntos al Sea Garden, donde se inició la presentación de los Olympic Games de Rio. Ésta la llevó a cabo la misma presidenta del Brasil, que nos vino a visitar. Good morning everybody! Here we are again! Yesterday, we began to face the term’s final stretch. Kids are getting ready for the final exam, which is on Friday! Congratulations to Gonzalo Nieto, because he turned 15 years old! The day went according to schedule: classes, snack time and break, classes, lunch and the last class of the day. To begin with the new week, we also prepared new clubs; those activities done in English by teams that help us to connect with the environment, with our colleagues and to improve our personal skills. Welcome to week 2 familes!! As you know, yesterday we spent the day at Port Aventura. The kids woke up very early and had an energetic breakfast to charge their batteries for a long day. We got into the parks, both Costa Caribe and Port Aventura, by 10 am and surprisingly there were no big crowds or long cues. The kids were divided into differrent groups taking into account the room numbers, accompanied by their respective monitors. The older ones enjoyed the most impresive rides such as Dragon Khan, Shambala, Hurakan Condor, Furius Baco and others, while the little ones spent most…

Buenos días familias!!! Ayer fue un día diferente en English Summer Tamarit. Los monitores no despertamos los alumnos. Un fotógrafo y un cámara profesional vinieron para gravar el día a día en estos campamentos de verano: el despertar, el desayuno, las clases, las actividades de los clubs, los watersports, los niños en la piscina, el jungle-trek, los partidos de Olympics y la fiesta de la noche. Por la mañana, el cámara fue pasando habitación por habitación para grabar el despertar de los chicos y chicas, y seguidamente las actividades en las cuatro zonas de Froggy games. Hey everybody! What an amazing day we had yesterday! The kids woke up really excited. After their morning activities (froggy games) and a complete and huge breakfast they started their first english lessons. We have 18 classrooms which include 6 levels : 1-2 (Starters), 3-4 (Movers), 5-6 (Flyers), 7-8-9-10 (KET), 11-12 (PET), 13-14-15-16 (FCE). Therefore, for exemple, if your child goes to class 7, he has the same level that one who goes to class 10. The students are divided into different classes with no level distinction so they can learn in reduced groups and the teachers can focus better on each child.…

Good morning everyone! Today is the last complete day for some of the children in Tamarit because tomorrow we have again a check-out (finishing terms 15T50 and 15T52). Yesterday we had a very intense day, from early morning everything was working for the Oscar’s Night. The kids were organising the tables and the couples and the monitors started to list their nominations for the different awards. Hello parents! We are glad to sum up another day full of English in our special 5T. Yesterday all our kids moved from Tamarit to the school of Hogwarts, to welcome a new school year. The dinning room became the incredible Great Hall of the famous school of magicians. First of all, during lunch time, the Sorting Hat distributed the diferent teams in the four houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Good morning again to all the families! This is the first post for the ones who have entered in the 15T52, 15T54 and 15T55, so welcome to the 65 kids that started yesterday! At the very first hour, the kids that have stayed with us during the first week had to leave the camp.
