Dear parents, Today, the students had a reverse breakfast with their clothes inside out! We saw t-shirt labels, pants on their heads, socks on the ears and other crazy ways to wear clothes. In Vallclara’s dining room we sit with a monitor and teacher and only speak in English, we ask every question in English: “Can I have some water please?” “How were English classes today?”.   Dear parents, On their first day in Vallclara, the students woke up at 8 o’clock and started the day with some physical exercise: the Froggy Games. Once we had played some games and yoga, we went to the dining room to have a delicious breakfast of cereals, bread, muffins, … At 10 o’clock the students were organised into the classes depending on the level demostrated in the exam on the previous day. Good morning mums and dads!!! How are you? We are very sad, because the term is almost over… Nevertheless, we are having a great time and enjoying these last days together. Yestarday the day went as usual in Vallclara: class, lunch, pool, clubs and olympics. Last night we did a gyncana related with Game of Thrones. Some monitors and MP’s made a film for us. Good morning everyone! The term is getting to an end and yesterday we had the most expected party for the students: the Froggy Awards! After the afternoon’s Olympic games, we dressed up in our most elegant dresses and suits. They all were really gorgeous! Before having dinner, each couple was presented in front of the other students. Good morning from Vallclarua! Yesterday Vallclara turned into the Polynesian Vallclarua town! During the day, photos and video were taken, so all the students got dressed up. The day progressed as usual, as we want to show the parents what we do in our daily routine. During snack time, the group pictures were taken, so each student could have a good memory of their monitors and roommates. In the swimming pool was time for team pictures. Good morning dear readers! Yesterday we said goodbye to the second week of the term with a completely different day. We had an outdoor breakfast with our monitors. We enjoyed the sun and the lovely weather in Vallclara. Then, we tidied up our rooms and changed the sheets, because the directive team was doing the room inspection. Good morning and welcome to a new term! We are starting a new week, but yesterday was the first day for V12 students. Before having breakfast, we played some froggy games to move a little bit our bodies and wake up. At 10 o’clock, Vallclara’s studies director, Anna Grattan, with all the teachers, reunited the students in the basketball court to tell them the class they were in. Hello everyone and welcome to the blog of English Summer Vallclara! Yesterday we welcomed the students to the first term of English Summer in Vallclara. At 4pm started the check-ins, where the students had the opportunity to talk with their monitor for the first time. Good morning! Today we have woken up at 7:30, some of us have been to Port Aventura, others to Costa Caribe and just a few have stayed in Vallclara. In Port Aventura we have met some of our English Summer friends from Prades and Tamarit. We have divided our children in different groups by age, this has allowed us to go on more rides.
